Whether you catch them playing on a street corner or a big stage, there is something that you will remember about the Wilsons. The joyful sounds of their music will linger with you long afterwards, and you will find yourself smiling as you recall Cara belting out a tune while her family drives the rhythm behind her.
Both professional musicians, Andrew and Deanna taught private lessons and performed part-time in Washington State. In 2012, they decided to take the family on an extended road trip to expose the kids to all kinds of music and help them grow as musicians. What started as a fun "busking vacation" has turned into a full-time career as a family string band.  For the last two years, the family has performed in the summer months at The Cody Cattle Company in Cody, WY and at Barleen's Arizona Opry in Apache Junction, AZ for the winter months. In between, there have been performances at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO, as well as fairs, festivals and private events across the US.
Their music is a high energy mix, covering artists from Louis Armstrong to the Beatles; Bob Wills to Merle Haggard . They bring a Western Swing flavor to it all, with twin fiddles, steel guitar, hard-driving upright bass, and honky-tonk piano.
Everyone in the family contributes their unique talents and personalities for an exciting, musically diverse show.

Deanna Palmer Wilson ("The Mom") grew up performing all around the US with her family’s band, The Palmer Family, and plays piano, guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and upright bass, as well as providing many of the group’s vocals. She credits her ability to play most stringed instruments to her piano playing background. Having spent all of her teenage years as a professional musician, she is excited to see her kids following in her footsteps. Deanna also makes a mean cheese biscuit.

At 17, Jake ( Mr. Bass Man) is the oldest son and plays some rockin' upright bass, mandolin, and contributes some fiddle to the 3 part sound. His smooth vocals thrill the ladies, while his audacious bass playing swings harder than a rusty gate. His onstage humorous asides are sharper than an aged Vermont cheddar.

Zack (The Quiet Man) Wilson is 16 years old, and his dry sense of humor keeps everyone guessing. His rhythm playing helps hold the band together, and his guitar solos are so shiny- but the boy's lap steel skills are really putting the western swing twang into this band. Zack can often be found making some cheesy nachos after the show.

Brandon (The Boy Ain't Right!) Wilson brings his 12-year-old entertainment genius to every show. His fiddle playing and lead vocals are only rivaled by his cheesy faces and uninhibited dance moves. He brings the comedy to each performance. In 2012 his fiddling earned him 3rd place in the nation for his age group. Brandon is learning to play the drums and will soon be adding his grooves to the band's swinging sounds.

She might be the only daughter, but don't think for one minute that she is outnumbered! 9-year-old Cara (Rules the Roost With an Iron Fist!) Wilson is the biggest personality on stage. Whether she is melting your heart with her bigger than life voice, or putting Brandon in his place between songs, Cara will impress you with every appearance on stage. She also has a lifelong hatred of fake cheese.
